6 Month Temp-to-hire Contract role with Thermo Fisher Scientific
First Shift M-F
Summarized Purpose:
Provides support to clinical supplies operations and administrative activities in all areas of clinical supplies lifecycle of low complexity studies.
Essential Functions:
• Coordinates, supports and performs administrative work to support the department.
• Supports the day to day operations of the study drug, comparators and ancillaries management.
• Supports department project teams as assigned member.
• Completes role specific training compliance and timesheets completion and release.
• May coordinate or serve as a liaison cross-functionally.
• Assists in the processing of clinical supplies.
• Tracks inventories and expiration dates of all department drug products and medical devices. Issues monthly status reports.
• Ensures all activities executed by Depots comply with company practices and client requirements.
• Arranges purchases of additional supplies upon request.
• Supports logistic & administrative activity.
• Participates in Project mini-teams.
• Attends training on new regulations concerning GMP and GDP activities.
• Interacts with electronic management systems.
Education and Experience:
• High / Secondary school diploma or equivalent and relevant formal academic / vocational qualification
• Technical positions may require a certificate
• Previous experience that provides the knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the job (comparable to 0 to 1 year).
• In some cases an equivalency, consisting of a combination of appropriate education, training and/or directly related experience, will be considered sufficient for an individual to meet the requirements of the role.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
• Basic English and good communication skills both written and verbal
• Good organizational skills with strong attention to detail and high quality deliverables
• Good computer and data entry skills
• Capable of working on issues of a diverse and confidential nature
• Capable of working in a team environment as well as work independently with direct supervision
• Adaptive to changes
• Ability to utilize proper channels of communications to voice concerns and suggestions
