Job Details

We are seeking an Associate Attorney to join our litigation team.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of civil litigation experience and handling matters in state and/or federal court.

Responsibilities:

• Draft, review, and negotiate a wide variety of legal agreements.
• Provide legal advice and guidance to clients on a broad range of legal matters.
• Represent our clients in court proceedings, mediations, and negotiations.
• Conduct thorough legal research and analysis to support case preparation and strategy development.
• Collaborate with legal team members to ensure the provision of high-quality legal services.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of changes in legislation and case law that may impact our clients.
• Manage client relationships, ensuring their legal needs are met and exceeded.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure legal compliance across the organization.

Qualifications:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience as an attorney in the legal industry.
• Experience with civil litigation is required
• Experience with or interest in medical malpractice is preferred.
• Proven experience in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating legal agreements.
• Exceptional communication and negotiation skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent research skills and attention to detail.
• Current license to practice law in the state of Oregon.
