This is a permanent position that offers the opportunity to work on various commercial construction projects. This role requires a proactive individual who can oversee projects from inception to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and budget.

Job Details
Responsibilities:
1. Oversee and manage all aspects of construction projects from start to finish, ensuring they are completed within the agreed timelines, budget, and quality standards.
2. Develop and define project goals and objectives, including scope, budget, and schedule.
3. Manage the coordination and completion of projects on time, within budget, and within scope.
4. Oversee all aspects of projects, including setting deadlines, assigning responsibilities, and monitoring and summarizing progress.
5. Negotiate contracts with architects, vendors, contractors, and other workers.
6. Coordinate efforts across entire project between architects, designers, engineers, and subcontractors.
7. Review the project in-depth to schedule deliverables and estimate costs.
8. Effectively communicate project expectations, details, and changes to team members and stakeholders.
9. Implement and manage project changes and interventions to achieve project outputs.
10. Conduct risk management to minimize project risks.
11. Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation, plans, and reports.
12. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and building codes.
13. Evaluate and assess the results of the project.
Qualifications:
1. 7+ years of experience within commercial construction
2. Three or more years of project management experience with Travel Center projects
3. Proven track record of managing all phases of construction projects from ground up to completion.
4. Strong knowledge of construction materials, processes, and equipment.
5. Exceptional leadership, management, and communication skills.
6. Excellent problem-solving abilities and experience in making swift, sound judgments.
7. Strong negotiation skills and the ability to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
8. Proficient in project management software.
9. Ability to read blueprints, structural drawings, and plan sets.
10. Advanced knowledge of construction contract and labor laws, safety regulations, and building codes.
11. Ability to travel as needed (generally once per month)
