Valytics, LLC is actively looking for Test Engineers (manual, automation, regression, integration, system, performance) responsible for end-to-end testing for our Internal Revenue Service client. These candidates will work with a group of testers collaborating with stakeholders, initiating data creation, developing the test strategy and plan, creating test plans and test scripts, executing tests, recording and tracking defects, finalizing deliverables, and assessing and reporting on progress. The Test Engineer should have extensive experience working with development and deployment teams to troubleshoot and determine root cause for any performance issues. The Test Engineer should also be familiar with automation tools and how they are used to increase test coverage and reduce testing cycle times. Testing will be conducted on IRS applications, systems, and databases to help ensure all functional requirements and integration with all external system interfaces specified are successful.

Requirements and Key Responsibilities:

· Active MBI Treasury Public Trust Clearance

· Must be a US Citizen

· Must hold a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution

· Ability to execute Compare tools to identify differences between output data

· Experience using IBM’s Rational Tool Concert’s Workflow Management and Test Management modules for defect/task tracking and test plan/suite/case/script development and tracking

· Experience with shell-scripts and running java applications from the command line for data creation

· Create Test Reports to show details of test results

· Create and maintain test cases and test case traceability mappings to verify functionalities have met stated requirements during testing of the application

· Provide development support and project level testing of the application functionalities through defect resolution

· Support type of testing required by the organization

· Review/Analyze Test Documentation

· Participate in walkthroughs/meetings/reviews/coordination efforts

· Utilize IBM’s Rational Tool Concert’s tools for all test-related artifacts and script execution

· Create test data and test procedures

· Create Predetermined Results

· Understanding of Agile development

· Excellent organization skills to meet deadlines, fulfill task assignments, and proactively strives to achieve team objectives

· Knowledge and understanding of using Control-M

· Excellent communication skills

Preferred Skills and Experience:

· Experience with 508 testing and tools

· Experience with automation and performance testing

· Experience with Selenium using Python or Java to develop automated scripts within an already established framework

· Knowledge of current IRS tax administration software applications

· Possession of an IRS laptop (GFE) and badge
