Carpenter / Set Builder

Temporary, expected through end of December 2024.

Monday through Friday, 8am - 5pm

Potential for Overtime

Access to reliable transportation to Port Washington, zip code 11050 is required.

Dependable, reliable Carpenter to build tradeshow booths and photo and video sets. Top notch skills and 5+ years of experience required with hand tools and power tools to build cabinets, walls, doors, frameworks and floors. All tools will be provided.

Job description:

• Shape and cut materials to specified measurements, using hand tools, machines, or power saws.
• Assemble and fasten materials to make frameworks or props, using hand tools and wood screws, nails, dowel pins or glue.
• Install interior trim and finishes including drywall, cabinets, flooring and window/door trim.

• Assist with set-up and break down of sets including moving furniture and accessories.
• Assist with equipment maintenance and organization.
• Perform all job functions in compliance with safety guidelines and company policies/procedures.
• Maintain a clean and orderly work area, organize and maintain equipment.
• Communicate clearly and work as part of a collaborative team.
• Work a full-time schedule; work overtime as required; including weekends.

• Ability to lift 50 pounds is required.
• Ensure safety through attention to detail and always being alert.
