Reach FLT Drivers

Halo Recruit, part of the Challenge-trg Group, are currently recruiting for a number of experienced FLT reach truck drivers to work for our prestigious client, based in the Corby area. This is an exciting opportunity to join an established employer.

Your role will include:

• Safe operation of Reach FLTs to move stock around the warehouse
• Use of the Reach FLTs to pick and put away pallets into racking
• Effective loading and unloading of a variety of containers
• Wrapping and restacking items to customer specification
• Conduct regular inspections of MHE before use, promptly reporting any maintenance issues
• General warehousing duties as required to support the needs of the operation

Candidate Requirements:

We are seeking candidates with the following skills and experience:

• Previous experience of operating a Reach Truck in a busy warehouse experience
• Experience of working in narrow, high racking would be desirable
• Candidates will ideally hold an externally accredited Reach Truck licence / certificate, from either RTITB or ITSAAR, and achieved within the last 3 years, and have the certification to demonstrate this
• Good standard of English speaking and writing skills, for the purposes of Health and Safety
• Strong understanding of safe working practices within a warehouse environment

Shifts Available:

• 5 days out of 7, to include weekends
• 6am - 2pm OR 2pm - 10pm - please indicate your shift preferences on your application.
• Overtime is also available and we ask that candidates ideally be flexible with their working pattern.

Pay Rate:

£12.80 per hour + £100 per week attendance bonus, payable on completion of all rostered shifts (£15.30 per hour inclusive of the bonus).
