Job Description
Contek Recruitment are currently working with a well-established engineering company based in Oldham. Due to company growth, they are now looking for an experienced Warehouse Manager to join their team on a full-time, permanent basis.
Working Hours: Monday to Thursday (07:45am until 17:00pm) and Friday (07:30am until 14:00pm)
Pay: £35k-£37k per year, dependent on experience.
Duties & Responsibilities:
* Management of the warehousing team, roughly 5 members of staff inclusive of pickers/packers, goods inwards, and drivers.
* Oversee and manage all day-to-day warehousing operations.
* To liaise with the manufacturing and quality departments to ensure good quality of parts & timely delivery of parts to customers.
* Seek improvements to procedures in order to improve efficiency and cost.
* Ensure all requirements relating to health and safety, environmental, and quality are being fully implemented in the warehouse.
* Building good relationships with suppliers and customers.
Requirements:
* Previous experience in a warehouse management position is essential.
* An in-date FLT counterbalance and reach license is preferred.
* Demonstrated ability to supervise a team effectively and efficiently.
* Have a good level of numerical and literacy skills.
