Job Description
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Air Conditioning Engineer to join a growing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for servicing, maintaining, and repairing air conditioning systems across client sites, with a focus on delivering exceptional customer service and technical expertise. As part of this role, there will be a requirement to join an on-call rota, with paid door-to-door travel outside standard working hours (8am-5pm).

Specialising in mobile air conditioning services, they have established a strong presence in London and the Home Counties, delivering high-quality maintenance and repair services for various systems, including DX splits, VRFs, and VRVs.
Overview of the role:
This role is pivotal in ensuring client satisfaction through efficient air conditioning maintenance and repair services. The Engineer will work on a variety of systems, diagnose and resolve faults, and liaise with the office team on remedial steps. With a geographical focus on London and West London, the Engineer will manage their own schedule while providing essential support to a dynamic and committed team.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct routine maintenance and repairs on air conditioning systems, including DX splits, VRFs, and VRVs.
Diagnose faults, implement solutions and communicate findings to the office team.
Participate in a five-weekly on-call rota, with overtime opportunities.
Ensure accurate documentation and timely completion of job reports.
Travel door-to-door outside of standard hours, with all travel compensated.
Uphold health and safety protocols and ensure proper handling of refrigerants in compliance with regulations.
Preferred Ideal Experience & Skills Required
F-Gas certification (2079 Safe Handling of Refrigerants)
Full driving licence.
Strong communication skills, with the ability to manage challenging customer situations diplomatically.
Proactive problem-solver with attention to detail.
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team, managing tasks under time constraints. Location :-
Mobile coverage predominantly within London and West London. The candidate should ideally be located within an hour of the office in Middlesex.

Salary :-
£38k - £45k Base + Door to Door travel, overtime opportunities with enhanced rates (1.5x for evenings/Saturdays and 2x for Sundays/Bank Holidays) and paid on-call rota participation (£150 weekly standby payment). Additional benefits include 20 days holiday plus bank holidays, fully expensed van, uniform, PPE, mobile phone, tablet and a company credit card for business expenses.
