Job Description
Job Title: HR Advisor
Location: Leeds
Salary: Up to £37,000
We are recruiting on behalf of a leading FMCG company based in Leeds, currently experiencing an exciting phase of expansion with a recent £50m investment. As the business continues to grow, they are looking for a dynamic and proactive HR Advisor to join their team. If you’re a confident HR Generalist who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys facing challenges head-on, this could be the perfect role for you.
Key Responsibilities of a HR Advisor:
Oversee and manage the full employee relations (ER) lifecycle, including disciplinary, grievance, and performance management processes.
Lead recruitment initiatives, from liaising with hiring managers to onboarding new talent.
Take an active role in continuous improvement (CI) projects related to HR, helping to drive efficiencies and enhance employee experience.
Provide expert advice to managers and employees on HR policies, procedures, and best practices.
Support the business in managing change as part of the company’s growth, ensuring smooth transitions.
Proactively identify HR issues and offer solutions, while also being ready to react quickly to unexpected challenges.
Key Requirements of a HR Advisor:
Proven experience as a HR Advisor or HR Generalist, ideally within a fast-paced environment such as FMCG or manufacturing.
Strong understanding of ER processes and UK employment law.
Ability to manage recruitment processes from start to finish, ensuring a positive candidate experience.
Experience with HR-related continuous improvement projects is highly desirable.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to build relationships at all levels.
A proactive and problem-solving mindset with a hands-on approach.
