Job Description
An opportunity has arisen to join a well known charity in Cambridge as a Bookkeeper. This role is being recruited on a temporary basis, with the possibility to be made permanent. The role is for 25 hours per week and can spread across 3,4 or 5 days. The role offers hybrid working too but some presence will be needing in their central Cambridge office.
Duties wise, as the incoming Bookkeeper you will be tasked with the following duties:
- Processing invoices
- Bank reconciliations
- Assisting with income and expenditure reports
- Assisting with Payroll
- Helping with the set up and maintenance of Quickbooks
- Further duties as required
As the successful applicant, you will be experience in the above duties, and ideally have experience with Quickbooks. If not, good knowledge of other accounting systems is a must. You will also be an effective communicator, be able to work with a high degree of accuracy and have a strong attention to detail.
