Job Description
Our client is a leading main contractor in the Civil Engineering sector working with Severn Trent Water.
We are looking for an experienced Site Manager to work on various schemes in the Leicestershire area..
Experience in both the water treatment sector and civil engineering would be highly advantageous for this position. As a Site Manager, you will work closely with the Site Engineer, Project Manager & Contracts Manager.
Key Responsibilities:
* Oversee and manage daily site operations, ensuring the project is delivered on time and within budget.
* Lead and coordinate all on-site activities, including supervision of subcontractors and trades.
* Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and environmental regulations.
* Liaise with clients, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure project milestones are achieved.
* Maintain clear and effective communication between the site and office teams.
* Monitor progress and quality control throughout all phases of construction.
* Manage site resources effectively, including labour, materials, and equipment.
* Ensure all works are carried out in accordance with contractual specifications and standards.
* Proactively identify potential issues and resolve them to avoid delays or additional costs.
