English and Maths Manager – Permanent - £43,797 per annum

We are looking to appoint a new Math and English Manager to come on board and lead the continued transformation of our cross college English & Maths curriculum.

This key position will be instrumental in shaping and advancing our college-wide approach to English and Maths.
In this pivotal cross college role, you'll provide direction and guidance to English and Maths teachers based in curriculum departments, to support the development of an exceptional and innovative curriculum, encompassing both classroom-based study programme sessions for GCSE resit students and apprentices studying Maths and English within the College.
You will lead on whole college CPD to develop an internal community of exceptional English & Maths practitioners and your dedication will be instrumental in establishing a strong regional and national reputation for the College's high-quality, innovative, and impactful Maths and English curriculum.
The college has invested heavily in English and Maths, with a delivery model which sees students studying in class sizes of no greater than 12 and is committed to providing the best possible opportunities for our students to achieve.
You will work closely with Heads of Department to support them to effectively implement the college GCSE delivery model and monitor the effectiveness and impact of delivery.
