(Methods/Manufacturing Engineering)

£35,000 - £43,000 per annum (depending on experience)

Job Summary:
Due to company success and growth, a precision manufacturing client of ours have made a brand-new role within the engineering department for a Process Engineer to join them on a full time, permanent basis.
Ideal skills and experience requirements:
* 2+ years’ experience in a similar Manufacturing Engineer/Methods Engineer position
* Experience with CAD related software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Inventor would be advantageous)
* Willingness to learn new manufacturing techniques and processes as this will involve a lot of NPI
* Excellent communication skills (verbal & written)
* Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
Key Responsibilities:
* Working closely with cross functional teams (production, quality, H&S, operations)
* Identifying and resolving integrity issues on new and existing products, thereby achieving right first-time samples and reducing scrap
* Developing and optimising manufacturing methods
* Utilising advanced simulation tools to model processes
* Identifying and addressing potential integrity issues ahead of production
* Continuously evaluating and improving methods to increase efficiency and to reduce scrap waste
* Preparing detailed reports on simulations, integrity concerns and process improvements
