JOB TITLE: SECTION LEADER
DEPARTMENT: Factory Based
REPORTING TO: Production / Operations Manager

STRATEGIC PURPOSE OF THE ROLE:
THE ROLE:
To effectively manage approximately 30 team members within our newly established Bathroom Pod manufacturing facility, you will be fundamental to ensuring our operations run smoothly and efficiently. Working with a KPI driven framework, you will motivate and drive the team to work safely and achieve their targets.
Although we would prefer candidate with previous experience, your energy and positive personality will be a key factor to any successful appointment.
DUTIES:
• Confidently lead, manage and motivate a 30 strong team to deliver the operational targets.
• Arrange necessary resources/materials/tools to enable work to proceed, and ensure all challenges are escalated where necessary to enable timely resolution.
• Manage team discipline and behaviours by ensure all team members are adhering to the designated start, finish and break times.
• Ensure all team members are achieving the correct H&S, quality and standard time criteria for their allocated tasks.
• Perform daily “Safe start” meetings and ensure your team is kept fully informed of all relevant situations.
• Ensure the team are wearing the correct PPE, working safely and following Health and Safety protocols.
• Proactively establish and maintain a good housekeeping regime.
• Carry out all necessary administration duties in a timely and accurate manner.
• Ensure all processes and procedures are followed in accordance with the QMS system.
• Any other duties as required.
SKILLS AND ATTRIBUTES REQUIRED:
(PERSON SPECIFICATION)
• Previous Supervisory experience of similar team sizes.
• Positive, Responsive and adaptable approach
• Approachable, developing fairness and consistency
• Ability to take ownership of a task and accepting accountability for it
• Excellent attendance and reliability record
• Be a strong team player and ability to co-operate with a variety of different people at different levels and be consider of others
• Prepared to use initiative within the rules.
TERMS:
Hours: Monday to Thursday 7.30am to 4.00pm, Friday 7.30am to 3.00pm (40 hours)
Monthly paid
Annual leave 20 days per annum plus Christmas and Bank Holidays
