Information Technology Support Technician

WeDoData are working closely with a leading independent school in Bristol who are looking for an IT Help Desk Technician on a full-time and permanent basis.

My client is one of the best private schools in the country, offering coeducational boarding and day tuition for students from around the world.

The education sector is a phenomenal environment to work in when considering developing your technical skills; there are so many different types of equipment to assist in maintaining - from the IT departments to Music and Design technology . Even more so at a private school where pupils and staff have top of the range facilities which require support in maintaining.

Successful applicants will:

• Have experience working in a similar IT environment
• Be enthusiastic, confident and proactive
• Hold excellent communication and organisational skills
• Be a team player and a quick learner
• Hold exceptional customer service skills

The following would be highly advantageous:

• Previous relevant experience working in an educational setting
• Strong experience in 2nd line IT support
• Experience working in a customer facing role
