Product Manager – Fluid Power

Hybrid working with travel to midlands

Ideally located centrally within England

• £50,000 - £55,000 Basic Salary + Bonus

Background

Our client is a market-leading pneumatics and fluid power company across Europe. Due to growth and development, they look to appoint a Product Manager for their Fluid Power division

The Role

• Responsible for the strategy, roadmap, and product vision of pneumatic, hydraulic and filtration product lines.

• Working closely with cross-functional teams such as sales, engineering, marketing and international product management

• Analyse the market and competitive environment to define a differentiated product vision that delivers value to the client and its customers. Understanding customer needs and expectations

• Develop commercial relationships with key suppliers

• Understand technical product requirements and offer market insights and new product information / product training to the sales and technical teams

• Evaluate new products on a technical, quality and commercial basis. Ensuring compliance with the company’s sustainability policies.

• Negotiating the best commercial deal for the company with regard to pricing, payments, rebates etc.

• Working within and alongside the International Product Team/Board.

• Travelling to the organisations sites and customers to present products, discuss developments and provide local training and support.

Experience

We want to hear from product managers, category managers and sales managers with a minimum of 2 years of pneumatics / hydraulics or fluid power product management experience.

Ideally, you will be based centrally in England but anywhere in England will be considered. The role may be required to stay away from home on occasion and the role will be home-based. The company headquarters are based in Leicestershire and travelling to that office will be beneficial but not essential.
