Job Description
Marble Talent Group are working with a well-established company who are looking for a motivated and reliable individual to join their team as a Fire Extinguisher Engineer. This is an entry-level position, and no previous experience is required, as full training will be provided. They will also be interested in experienced extinguisher engineers. You will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and servicing of fire extinguishers and other fire safety equipment to ensure compliance with industry standards. The candidate will be covering Hertfordshire, Bedfordshire and North London.
Key Responsibilities:
Installation and Servicing: Install, inspect, maintain, and service a wide range of fire extinguishers and fire safety equipment in accordance with British Standards (BS5306).
Testing and Inspection: Carry out routine inspections and functional tests to ensure fire extinguishers and safety equipment are in proper working condition.
Customer Support: Provide excellent customer service, advising clients on fire safety equipment and ensuring their compliance with relevant fire safety regulations.
Record Keeping: Complete service reports, and maintain accurate records of inspections, maintenance, and replacements.
Training: Participate in continuous training programs to stay up to date with industry standards, regulations, and best practices.
Qualifications and Skills:
Must live in UK and have rights to work in UK
No experience required – Full training provided.
Full UK driving license (required for travel to various customer sites).
Willingness to learn and adapt to new challenges.
Basic mechanical aptitude or an interest in hands-on technical work.
Good communication skills – ability to communicate effectively with customers and colleagues.
Attention to detail and a commitment to safety standards.
Reliable and punctual, with a strong work ethic.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
Desirable:
Any prior experience or knowledge in fire safety or engineering is an advantage but not required.
Package
Salary up to £30,000 DOE
Uncapped commission.
20 day holiday + bank holiday
Full training and qualifications provided
Company vehicle which can be used for private usage.
