Job Description
IMH Recruitment is seeking a skilled Fabricator to join a reputable steel manufacturing company in Sheffield. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced fabricator looking for stable work and an attractive hourly rate.
Key Responsibilities:
* Fabricate steel components to meet project specifications.
* Operate fabrication machinery and tools safely and efficiently.
* Read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
* Perform quality checks to ensure work meets the required standards.
* Cut, shape and join heavy sheet metal which is used in large structures.
* Weld or bolt sheets together to complete the finished product
* Ensure complete projects meet the company quality standards
* Collaborate with the production team to meet deadlines and maintain workflow.
* Always adhere to health and safety regulations.
Requirements:
* Proven experience as a Fabricator, ideally in steel manufacturing.
* Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
* Strong attention to detail and precision in fabrication tasks.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* A commitment to health and safety standards in the workplace.
What We Offer:
* £14.80 per hour, with regular, full-time hours.
* Monday to Thursday 07:30am – 16:00pm and early finish on Fridays 07:30am – 15:00pm
