Job Description
Position: Sheet Fabrication Worker.
Salary: £18-21 per hour, depending on experience.
Location: Cheltenham.
We are looking for two skilled Sheet Metal Workers with experience in thin gauge aluminium, steel, and titanium to join our team.
Key Responsibilities:
* Interpret technical drawings and instructions to fabricate sheet metal products accurately.
* Set up and operate fabricating machines and hand tools for cutting, bending, and straightening metal materials.
* - Shape sheet metal over anvils, blocks, or custom forms to achieve precise dimensions and smooth finishes.
* Assist in training new or less experienced team members as needed.
* Ensure a safe working environment by adhering to health and safety procedures.
* Participate in external audits and engage in internal audits and process improvement initiatives.
Essential Skills and Experience:
* Proficiency with shrinkers, stretchers, straighteners, English wheels, and rollers for part profile creation.
* Strong understanding of metal behaviour during forming processes.
* Experience working with titanium, steel, and aluminium.
* Panel beating skills.
* Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and documentation.
* Familiarity with first-off inspection procedures.
