Job Description
Head of Finance
Evesham
Salary: £75,000 - £85,000 dependent on experience
Hours of work - Full-time, 37.5, Monday – Friday 8.30am – 5.00pm, hybrid working, 1 day per week from home.
Managing a team of 4 direct reports, overseeing the wider team of 13 employees.
Must be AAT qualified or relevant level CIMA or ACCA/ACA as a minimum.
Reporting to Director.
This role will be responsible for leading the Finance team and all management accounts.
Key responsibilities
* Finalising monthly management accounts
* Micro Year ends for properties managed by our block management company.
* Liaising with external advisers on financial matters, Due diligence in relation to mergers and acquisitions.
* Management of internal finance team
* Supervision of cash flow reporting
* Management of inter-company transactions and group transactions
* Supervisee and review all other company reports, and provide regular analysis and reporting.
* Posting and review of Financial Journals
* Budget comparison and analysis
* Process company VAT returns
* Submitting payroll on to the bank
Skills & Attributes
* Knowledge and understanding of group accounting and best practice.
* Knowledge of RICS and Client money protection scheme would be preferred.
* Excellent communicator both in writing and verbally.
* Previous managerial experience.
* Strong systems experience, excellent user of Excel.
* Knowledge of Sage preferable
* Highly organised/Able to work on own and use own initiative and supervise employees.
* Strong attention to detail.
* Excellent communicator, and the ability to build strong relationships with key stakeholders.
* Report writing skills.
* Good negotiator.
* A full clean UK driving license and access to own vehicle.
Remuneration
Salary; up to £85K per annum (Dependant on Experience)
