Shift Engineer
Liverpool Street, City of London
£48,000 - £54,000
We are representing a highly renowned Building Service Provider who are looking to grow their team on a flagship, semi - critical site in Liverpool Street. This is a fantastic role for a Shift Engineer to gain exposure on a high end commercial property, where you will gain valuable career experience and High Voltage Training!
In this role, you will be responsible for the Planned Preventive and Reactive Maintenance on the Electrical and Mechanical systems on site, respond to emergencies on site, liaise with sub contractors and ensure the client on site is satisfied with the service provided. This role will follow a continental shift pattern (Days and nights)
To be successful in this role, you will need to be fully qualified in either Electrical or Mechanical Engineering (City and Guilds / NVQ or equivalent), at least 3 years experience in a similar role and a client facing attitude.
Duties:
PPMs & Reactive maintenance
Single and Three Phase Power, Motors, Generators (on/off load tests), UPS, LV/HV switching, Shutdowns, Emergency Lighting, Fire Alarm Test, AHUs, FCUs, VAVs, CRAC units, Sprinkler Systems, Pumps BMS Operation
Organising subcontractors
Quotations
Health & Safety
Logbooks
Risk assessments
Permits to work
Requirements:
Fully qualified in either Electrical Installations or Mechanical Engineering (City and Guilds / NVQ or equivalent)
At least 3 years experience in a similar role
Client facing attitude
High Voltage Switching experience - Desirable, not essential
Apprentice trained - Desirable
Salary and Benefits:
£48,000 - £54,000 per annum
High Voltage Training provided
Authorised Person status
Continental shift pattern (Days and nights)
