Are you a compassionate Paediatric Nurse looking to make a real difference? Our client, a leading children's hospice in Barnet, North London, is seeking a dedicated Senior Children's Nurse (Band 6) to join their team. This role offers a competitive salary up to £49,976, depending on experience. You'll also enjoy a generous joining bonus of £5,000 over three years, with an initial £500 on appointment. Our client is a well-respected children's hospice that provides specialist care and nursing for babies, children, and young people with complex medical needs. As a Senior Children's Nurse, you will:
Provide direct line management support to Band 5 Nurses and Band 3 + 4 Specialist Carers.
Deliver high-quality patient care in the hospice, children's homes, or community settings.
Plan and review care in collaboration with families to ensure safety and advocacy.
Ensure fun, sensitivity, and compassion are integral to the care provided.
Administer medications and maintain the nutritional status of all children.
Participate in governance activities, including incident reporting and resource management.
Offer training and development opportunities to staff and family members.

The ideal Senior Children's Nurse candidate will have:
Registration as a Sick Children’s Nurse or Registered Nurse (Child Branch).
Relevant post-qualification experience at Band 5 level.
Experience in nursing children with life-limiting conditions.
Excellent clinical, communication, and mentoring skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
