Job Description
Position: Junior Accountant
Location: Reading
Salary: £32,000 - £38,000 (dependent on experience)
A leading company in the construction materials testing industry, are on the lookout for a **Junior Accountant** to join their growing team. This is an ideal opportunity for a motivated individual with experience in accounting within a expanding organisation.
Key Responsibilities:
* Assist in the preparation of financial statements in accordance with UK-GAAP
* Manage accounts receivable and oversee the credit control function
* Process vendor invoices and ensure accuracy in the ERP system
* Reconcile bank accounts and supplier statements
* Collaborate on month-end closing procedures
Experience & Skills Required:
* Fully or part-qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA)
* 2-4 years of relevant accounting experience
* Proficient in Microsoft Office 365; familiarity with Acumatica or NetSuite is advantageous
* Solid understanding of UK-GAAP and finance in a manufacturing context
