Job Description
Belmont Recruitment are looking to speak with experienced recovery workers with experience working with opiate and non-opiate clients to work for a drug and alcohol service in Reading as a permanent member of staff.
The key duties of this role will be carrying out assessments and creating support plans to highlight the service users needs and barriers preventing them from recovering. You will work in collaboration with GPs, partner organisation staff and other health and social care professionals to deliver a shared care service, alcohol service, providing specialist interventions including prescribing of opiate substitution therapy and access to detoxification. Furthermore, you will carry out both 1-1 and group work, offering a range of harm reduction interventions and advice.
-You will need an enhanced DBS.
-The position offers a salary ranging from £27,449.52 - £31,529.41depending on experience and has a benefits package including 25 days of annual leave (plus bank holidays, pro rata), increasing incrementally each year for the first five years.
-The working hours are Monday to Friday, 9-5.
