Do you have experience working with children with SEND?
TeachRecruiters are searching for a calm, patient and adaptable SEND teaching assistant to work within a specialist resource base within a mainstream primary school. The role will include providing one-to-one support and working in small groups with children with ASD and complex communication needs.
This role is offered on a long-term basis with the potential to become permanent for the successful candidate.
What is the school looking for?
* NVQ Level 3 in supporting teaching and learning in schools or relevant qualification required.
* SEND experience within an education setting.
* Has knowledge of the EYFS curriculum.
* The ability to support SEND students 1:1 in small groups.
* Knowledge of maintaining, updating and reviewing progress of EHCPS.
