Maintenance Electrician

Our client is currently seeking a Maintenance Electrician to join their team. As a maintenance electrician, you will be responsible for the electrical maintenance and repair of all plant, machinery and equipment.

Responsibilities:

• Locate electrical faults and repair and maintain all electrical componentry of plant, machinery, and equipment.
• Perform preventative maintenance on electrical systems and equipment to ensure safe and efficient operation.
• Management of breakdowns.
• Management of PLC technology.
• To control electrical parts inventory including parts ordering.
• Maintain electrical standards to AS3000 and recommend plant, machinery and equipment upgrades as appropriate.
• Test & Tag Support and maintain compliance with Australian Standards and recommend upgrades as appropriate.
• Provide training and guidance to apprentices and other junior electricians.
• Support and maintain compliance with all Food Safety, Quality and WHS policies and practices.

About You:

• A Grade Electrical License (NSW)
• Current Victorian Driver’s License.
• EWP and Forklift License Preferable.
• 3+ Years of qualified industrial experience.
• Experience in industrial electrical & automation
