Job Description
We are seeking an exceptional VP Compliance for a progressive financial services player. Based in the Singapore office, this role offers valuable exposure and mentorship under an experienced Compliance leader.
As VP Compliance, you will provide trusted regulatory advice on equity capital markets, underwriting and private placements, securities marketing and sales, information barriers and internal control. You will manage conflict of interest, monitor announcements, review circulars and offer documents, conduct compliance assurance reviews, handle due diligence, and ensure supervision structures and procedures align with the IBD operating procedures manual.
The ideal candidate has 4 to 8 years of experience in legal transactions and/or commercial issues, risk control or compliance areas. A strong familiarity with relevant laws and regulations, including SGX-ST/DC/DT Rules, SFA, FAA, MAS Regulations, the Companies Act and the Code of Corporate Governance, is essential. Excellent stakeholder management skills and the ability to manage multiple compliance/projects. Mandarin-speaking candidates are preferred to facilitate communication with Chinese stakeholders.
