Job DescriptionJob DescriptionWe are offering a long term contract employment opportunity for a Business Analyst IV in Sun Prairie, Wisconsin. This role is focused on the optimization of compute resources in both private and public cloud within the IT industry. As a Business Analyst IV, you will be responsible for delivering plans to reduce virtual machines (VMs), right-size assigned resources to VMs, and identify candidates for the public cloud.
Responsibilities:
• Collaborate with cross-functional groups like Architecture, FinOps, and Hosting Public Cloud
• Lead or participate in change delivery activities, including business needs assessment, requirements capture, solution design, and delivery
• Act as a liaison between the business and the IT team to identify problems, challenges, or opportunities from a business, IT system, or process perspective
• Implement new ideas and problem-solve while inspiring creativity within the teams you collaborate with
• Identify gaps in business procedures, gather both high level and detailed requirements, and where appropriate, redefine processes and methods of working with business applications and other related business tools
• Work with Stakeholders, Project Managers, Developers, and Solution Architects to assist in the implementation of business-led changes
• Develop and gain agreement on detailed work breakdown plans to ensure delivery against agreed timescales
• Assist in the development of project plans and manage plan and execute analysis activities to ensure completion against project objectives
• Conduct workshops with business stakeholders and other project participants to gather requirements or conduct impact analysis
• Create as-is or to-be process maps or target operating models
• Define and document business and functional specifications.• Proficient in communication, documentation, and reporting skills
• Experience in planning, implementing, and optimizing business procedures and practices
• Ability to design, review, and implement business processes
• Knowledge of budget processes and financial planning
• Expertise in training staff and stakeholders
• Experience working with insurance processes and procedures
• Ability to liaise with stakeholders and execute strategies
• Proficient in Agile methodologies and frameworks
• Able to write clear and concise specifications
• Experience in risk and defect management
• Ability to prioritize tasks and deliverables according to business needs
• Experience with different business analysis methods
• Ability to work with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
