Web Developer

Capstone IT is partnering with a top-rated Kansas City employer to hire a Web Developer with experience in PHP and Drupal. This hybrid role offers a mix of in-office collaboration (three days) and remote work (two days), providing a flexible work-life balance. This is a 6-month contract with the potential for extension or conversion to a full-time position.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, maintain, and enhance Drupal-based websites and applications, with a focus on performance, scalability, and user experience.
• Leverage Drupal 9-10 to create robust content management systems, ensuring adherence to best practices.
• Configure and manage Acquia Cloud environments for optimized performance, scalability, and security.
• Write clean, efficient PHP code aligned with modern web development standards.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, ensuring project timelines are met.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including designers and project managers, to ensure successful delivery of web projects.
• Implement version control processes using Git and manage repositories effectively.
• Use web services (REST APIs, SOAP) for third-party integration and data exchange.
• Ensure smooth deployment and rollback processes using CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong familiarity with Agile methodologies like Scrum or Kanban for managing development projects.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a dynamic, collaborative environment.
