Job Description

A fantastic school located in Theale, Reading are seeking a passionate individual who wants to get experience in an educational environment to join their community. Taking on the role of SEN Teaching Assistant at the school, you will support children with additional needs throughout the school day. You will collaborate with professionals on site to ensure students get the best care.

The SEN Teaching Assistant's School:

Providing consistent support and positive reinforcement are key components of how the school help both students AND staff. The successful candidate for SEN Teaching Assistant will benefit from:

As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will be responsible for observing and identifying behaviour patterns, triggers, coping mechanisms and improvement throughout the school day. You will be the students' first line of support and a safe space for them to express their emotions. Working with vulnerable students and students with additional needs will consist of acting as a role model, providing guidance and encouragement to develop independence.

  • Theale, Reading
  • Monday to Friday, 8:30 - 3:30
  • £80 - £90 daily rate
  • SEN Provision
  • Accessible by public transport
