Programmed Skilled Workforce is seeking experienced forklift drivers for multiple positions in the Sunshine Coast region.
As part of a well-established team, you will work with a range of commercial and residential customers to deliver gyprock. Your contributions will significantly impact both the customer experience and the production process.
In this role, you'll handle various labor tasks alongside operating forklifts. We are looking for candidates who are available Monday through Friday and can commit to 38 hours per week.
Duties include, but are not limited to:
- Gyprock Laboring: Assisting with the handling, cutting, and installation of gyprock materials, ensuring quality and precision in all tasks.
- Forklift Operations: Safely operating forklifts to load and unload materials, transport gyprock to designated areas, and maintain an organized work environment.
- Customer Service: Engaging with both residential and commercial customers, addressing their needs and inquiries, and ensuring a positive experience throughout the delivery process.
- Inventory Management: Assisting in the tracking and management of stock levels, ensuring materials are readily available and accurately documented.
- Safety Compliance: Adhering to all safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe working environment for yourself and your colleagues.
- Team Collaboration: Working closely with team members to coordinate tasks efficiently and support overall operational goals.

What We're Looking For:
Warehouse Experience: Candidates should have a strong background in warehouse operations, demonstrating familiarity with inventory management, material handling, and safety protocols.
Proven Forklift Experience: A track record of safely operating forklifts in a warehouse setting is essential. Candidates must hold a valid forklift license and be comfortable with various types of forklifts.
Customer Service Skills: Strong interpersonal skills are a must. Candidates should have prior experience in customer service, with the ability to communicate effectively and provide support to both residential and commercial clients.
Availability: Candidates must be willing to work Monday to Friday, from 6 AM to 2 PM, with some flexibility for overtime as needed. A commitment to meeting the demands of the role is important.
Pre-Employment Medicals: Candidates should be prepared to undergo pre-employment medical assessments to ensure they are fit for the physical demands of the job.
Common Sense and Initiative: We are looking for individuals who are proactive, able to think on their feet, and demonstrate good judgment in their work.
