Job Description

Our client is a leading advisory practice based in Melbourne's CBD.


With a great culture and a progressive/vibrant environment, this is an ideal role if you are early on your career in bookkeeping.



The role:



As a bookkeeper, your responsibilities include:



  • Maintenance of electronic cashbooks using MYOB

  • Preparation of STP reports

  • Preparation of statutory reports and lodgment with AFSA & ASIC

  • EFT payments include payroll

  • Preparation of BAS and PAYG returns

  • Liaising with banks

  • Attend to ATO related matters (Maintenance of ATO platform, communication with ATO based on requirements)

  • Contribution to policies around bookkeeping



As the ideal candidate you must have:



  • 1-3 years of experience in bookkeeping in advisory practice (restructuring and insolvency preferable)

  • Be an excellent communicator

  • Great organizational skills & attention to detail

  • Great interpersonal skills

  • experience in preparation of BAS, working in MYOB would be an added advantage.
