We have a great permanent Full-Time opportunities for Utilities and Team Leaders to perform services in:



  • Housekeeping/Cleaning – (8 days on/6 days off roster)

  • Laundry - (2 weeks on/1 week off roster)

  • Mine Site Cleaning - (2 weeks on/1 week off roster)


These are permanent Full-Time opportunities with different roster patterns available depending on your assigned position and are either DIDO from local and surrounding areas or FIFO from Brisbane or Townville.


About the role


Our housekeeping/cleaning team are responsible for delivering high standard cleaning and hygiene services across all village operations including rooms/accommodation, general public areas, administration office cleaning, mine site cleaning and running the on-site laundry facility.


You will be a motivated hospitality professional with demonstrated customer service ethos and a focus on achieving outcomes as part of a team.


You will need to be able to work in a remote environment where extreme weather conditions occur in a physically demanding role requiring a large amount of manual handling.


The Position:



  • Perform housekeeping tasks, including cleaning of rooms, common areas, operating an industrial laundry and/or cleaning mine site areas

  • Complete laundry services, including washing, drying, and distributing linens, towels, and uniforms

  • Complete cleaning of offices and amenities in the mine site

  • Ensure proper care of housekeeping and laundry equipment and report any maintenance or safety issues

  • Ensure compliance with established policies and procedures within the housekeeping function and other relevant areas

  • Ensure all cleaning and laundry tasks are completed efficiently and in line with health and safety standards

  • Self-motivated with a proven ability to demonstrate initiative and adapt to changing needs or priorities

  • Physically fit with the ability to successfully pass pre-employment medical requirements

Minimum Criteria:



  • Ability to undertake regular travel to site on a DIDO/FIFO roster

  • Ability to work in a remote and physically demanding environment

  • Proven experience in housekeeping/cleaning operations is essential preferably within a remote/village operation with laundry and mine site cleaning operations preferred

  • Excellent organisation and time management skills as well as an excellent eye for detail

  • Flexible and adaptable with a positive attitude and team focus

  • Ability to work within a team and autonomously when required

  • Solutions focused – self-motivated with a proven ability to demonstrate initiative and adapt to changing needs or priorities.

  • Physically fit with the ability to successfully pass pre-employment medical requirements

  • Possess an Australian drivers license
