Exciting opportunity for a Canteen Site Supervisor to join us at our site located in the Wacol, employed on a Day shift Monday to Friday, Full Time basis.

The Position:

• Prior canteen experience preferably in a fast paced environment


• Proven supervisory experience within a small to medium team


• Review stock levels and complete orders as required


• Scheduling of ongoing maintenance programs for all periodical cleaning


• Supervision of canteen assistants in relation to day to day sales


• Carry out cleaning inspection, be responsible for quality control and service rotations


• Receive and respond to emails as required


• Issuing and managing staff rosters and time sheets

Minimum Criteria:

• Experience supervising employees ideally within a commercial kitchen environment


• Previous food and beverages experience


• Sound experience and understanding of special dietary requirements


• Computer Literacy


• Sound written and verbal English and numeracy skills


• Excellent presentation and interpersonal skills


• Ability to work well under pressure, being able to lead and guide a team in a complex and at times demanding environment


• Able to provide a clean criminal history check


• Food Supervisors certificate


• Knowledge of ISO 9002 and 22000 Standards/HACCP/Equip
