Casual Boilermaker, Fitter, and Trade Assistant

We're on the lookout for skilled and enthusiastic professionals to join our team as Boilermakers, Fitters, and Trade Assistants! This casual position involves supporting a variety of projects, shutdowns, and maintenance activities across Melbourne. If you have hands-on experience and a knack for problem-solving, we'd love to hear from you!


Roles Available:

• Boilermaker: Perform welding and fabrication tasks, working with various materials and equipment.


• Fitter: Handle machinery installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting.


• Trade Assistant: Support Boilermakers and Fitters with various tasks and ensure smooth operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support project teams with shutdowns, maintenance, and project tasks.


• Perform preventive and scheduled maintenance on mechanical machinery.


• Engage in fault finding and troubleshooting.


• Maintain high standards of safety and accurate record-keeping.


• Carry out general trade assistance tasks as required.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Australian recognized trade qualification in Mechanical Trade (for Boilermaker and Fitter roles).


• Solid understanding of HSE requirements and obligations.


• LF, EWP, WAH, and Confined Space certificates (or willingness to obtain).


• Attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and ability to work as part of a team.


• Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and hold a current driver's license.


• Experience with MIG, TIG, or ARC welding is highly advantageous.


• Ability to work overtime as needed.

Shift Details:

• 7:00am - 3:30pm (subject to change)
