MC Truck Driver

• MC & LF Licences & experience is essential

Programmed Skilled Workforce are currently hiring for a very well-known and reputable Food Manufacturing company that is a global provider of world class food & dairy products. They are seeking confident and experienced MC Truck Driver to join their Rowville team.


About your new role:

• Operating Multi-Combination truck (MC) or Heavy-Combination truck (HC)


• Operating Counter balance forklift (LF)


• Loading and unloading supervision at pick up & delivery sites


• Transport and delivery of goods


• Tasks undertaken in and around Melbourne


• Communicate with clients politely.


• Deliver and pick up equipment without damage.


• Perform safety inspections as required.

This role will be driving but if there is quiet times, they may help in backlanding which includes:

• Empty pallets of crates from trailer


• Clean out trailer once empty


• Sort empty crates into alike pallets


• Wrap pallets of crates


• Tie up pallets of foreign crates


• Load B/doubles in yard with pallets of crates


• Clean dock drains


• Housekeeping duties

About you:

• Experienced Multi-Combination truck driver with a valid MC licence


• Experienced Forklift Operator with a valid LF licence


• Work history in a similar role


• Physically fit to lift up to 25kgs


• A positive attitude and excellent work ethic


• Able to work well autonomously


• Self- motivated


• Safety focused


• Ability to undertake a pre-employment medical and Drug and Alcohol screen


• Able to pass a Driver's history check


• Able to work 3-4 shifts per week (Monday-Friday) 8+ hour shifts
