About the Role:
We are seeking a strong-minded and proactive Dispatch Coordinator to manage the day-to-day transport operations for a leading manufacturer specialising in insulated panel and building solutions. Reporting directly to the Business Manager, you will ensure efficient dispatch processes, coordinating deliveries and supporting the company's growth in transport operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily dispatch operations with the potential to significantly increase delivery capacity.
- Ensure strict compliance with (CoR) regulations - CoR experience is essential.
- Manage load restraints, with a focus on insulated panels and other fragile products.
- Collaborate with drivers and transport partners to meet delivery schedules and maintain operational efficiency.
- Maintain safety, quality, and compliance in all dispatch activities. Load and unloading trucks when required.
- Use the Pronto ERP system (experience highly regarded but not essential as training provided).
Selection Criteria:
- Proven experience in transport and logistics, particularly in dispatch operations.
- In-depth knowledge of Chain of Responsibility (CoR) regulations - must have.
- Experience with load restraints and handling of fragile or specialised products.
- Strong organisational skills, discipline, and a proactive approach.
- Ability to support business growth by improving operational efficiency in dispatch.
