HOUSEKEEPER

We are seeking a dedicated full-time or part-time housekeeper to join our Abbeyfield Goulburn house and take care of all usual housekeeping duties, alongside meal preparation. This role requires someone who is organised, detail-oriented, and enjoys creating delicious and nutritious meals and companionship for people with disabilities.

Appropriate knowledge and understanding of working with people with disabilities, challenges and protocols is important to deliver effectively in this role.

We’re seeking individuals who:

• Experience in aged or community care, or a passion to begin your career

in disability sector.

• Empathetic and resourceful and be able to live Abbeyfield’s everyday values of being

compassionate, respectful, imaginative, and bold.

• Flexible and prepared to help meet the changing needs and schedules of our residents.

Responsibilities:

• Perform regular cleaning and organising tasks throughout the home.

• Grocery shopping and meal planning.

• Prepare daily meals that are both healthy and appetising.

• Maintain kitchen and household cleanliness and organisation.
