About the company
Our client is a boutique Environmental Consultancy that provide environmental and risk management consulting services in the fields of contaminated land, hazardous materials, occupational hygiene and health and safety. Now seeking an experienced Hazmat consultant to join their growing and dynamic team.
Role responsibilties
- Performing asbestos and hazardous materials audits, followed by the creation of reports related to site assessments.
- Developing management plans and providing recommendations for the safe handling of asbestos and other hazardous materials.
- Carrying out hazardous materials hygiene assessments, clearance inspections, and issuing the necessary certificates.
- Supporting occupational hygiene and property risk projects, including conducting occupational hygiene and mold assessments.
- Managing projects and maintaining communication with clients.
- Gaining knowledge of the companies internal laboratory procedures and NATA protocols for asbestos air monitoring analysis.
You must have
- 2+ years experience consulting with Hazardous materials and Asbestos.
- Experience and knowledge of working within water damage building and mould remediation.
- Must have current Asbestos Assessors Licence.
- Experience and knowledge of asbestos fibre air monitoring, clearance inspections and audits
- Strong report writing skills, fieldwork and data management experience.
- A broad understanding of health and safety regulatory guidance.
- A full current drivers licence
