Programmed Skilled Workforce are seeking Diesel Mechanics for Workshop and Field Services for our client who are a World Renowned Industry leader for Diesel Engines.

In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:

• Deliver a first-class service to our customers


• Complete repairs and maintenance of heavy diesel products


• Diagnose and repair engines


• Inspect and replace components as required


• Engine rebuilding and reconditioning


• Complete required documentation


• Attend to breakdowns in the field, this will be on an on-call roster (FIELD SERVICE only)

To be successful in this role you will need the following:

• Relevant Heavy Diesel trade qualification - Heavy Vehicle Mechanic/Plant Mechanic or Diesel Fitter


• Experience with heavy diesel products and in field service/workshop environments


• Ideally possess engine rebuild and reconditioning experience or knowledge


• Solid diagnostic, electronic and IT capabilities


• Valid Australian Driver's license required

Compensation and Benefits

• Competitive above award hourly rate paid as a permanent salary


• Overtime penalties for all work above standard Monday - Friday 38-hour work week


• Tool of Trade Vehicle provided (field service position only)


• Tool Allowance


• On call allowance (field service position only)


• Salary continuance insurance


• Safety equipment / PPE and uniforms
