Mechanical Fitter

Do you want to work with one of Australis's leaders who design, produce, and distribute a range of crop protection solutions, that include herbicides, insecticides, and fungicides, to help growers effectively defend their crops against the threats posed by weeds, pests, and diseases?

Our client has an exciting opportunity for a Mechanical Fitter to join their well-established team on a casual basis for a 2-month assignment located in the Kwinana area for an immediate start, offering a day shift Monday - Friday and a competitive hourly rate of $53 p/hr (inclusive of 25% casual loading).

Key responsibilities:

• Communicate equipment status with production operators
• Work order completion and feedback on equipment condition
• Provide breakdown and preventative maintenance on fixed plant and equipment
• Working in a safe manner

Successful candidates will have:

• Drivers license and reliable vehicle
• Proven experience in a similar role
• Relevant Engineering/Mechanical Trade qualification
• Have flexibility with working hours and availability to work weekends if required
• Great punctuality and time management
• Rights to work in Australia
