About this role:
Programmed Care are currently seeking dedicated and passionate Registered Nurses to work ongoing morning shifts in the Gungahlin community.
We have 6am - 8:30am shifts available on any weekday, on a fortnightly basis.

Duties include, but are not limited to:
- Provide clinical guidance and advice to support workers on care-related tasks to ensure high standards of client care and adherence to best practices
- Regularly review and evaluate clients' care plans to ensure they are up-to-date, comprehensive, and reflective of the clients' current needs. Identify any gaps or required updates to ensure optimal care delivery.
- Conduct health assessments and monitor the ongoing medical and health status of clients, including identifying changes that may require revisions to care plans or interventions.
- Ensure proper administration, storage, and documentation of medications as per care plans and provide guidance to support workers on medication-related queries.
- Work closely with support workers and other care professionals to ensure a cohesive approach to delivering client care. Provide training and mentorship where needed to enhance the skillset of the team.
Key criteria:
- Current Nursing Registration with AHPRA
- NDIS Worker Orientation Module
- NDIS Worker Screening Check
- Working with Children Check
- Minimum 1 year of experience working with children
- Valid driver's license with a reliable vehicle and current car insurance
- Current First Aid Certificate
