About the role

Our client is a leading consultancy specializing in built environment assessments. They are dedicated to enhancing the safety, sustainability, and quality of indoor spaces. As a consultant you will focus on conducting built environment assessments and audits within various areas such as:

• Air testing - indoor.


• Infection control - healthcare.


• Mould investigations.


• Site testing for building rating schemes (Nabers, Greenstar, Well).


• Water testing.


• Chemical management and auditing.


• Hazardous materials auditing (inc asbestos), synthetic mineral fibres, lead and PCB's.


• Clandestine lab investigations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct surveys and inspections within the built environment.


• Manage and execute pollutant sampling projects in line with relevant standards and guidance documents.


• Write detailed technical reports and provide actionable recommendations.


• Collaborate with team members and clients to ensure successful project outcomes.


• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry standards and regulations.

About You:

• Understanding of the built environment and its complexities.


• Experience in field sampling and interpreting results.


• Competency in using instrumentation and testing equipment.


• Strong technical skills with a critical thinking mindset.


• Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Word and Excel.


• Commitment to Occupational Health and Safety (OH&S) practices.


• Ability to work autonomously and manage time effectively.


• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.


• Current driver's license.
