Procurement Governance and Contracts Coordinator – Grade 7/8
- We are looking for an analytical, detail-oriented individual to coordinate procurement governance activities for the NSW State Emergency Service (SES).
- Work in a volunteer-based agency, supporting communities of NSW.
- Full time ongoing role, based in Wollongong with flexible working arrangements available.
About the opportunity
An exciting opportunity exists for an individual with an eye for detail and the ability to interpret trends from reports, to support the NSW SES in adhering to
NSW Government procurement legislative and statutory requirements.
This newly established role within the NSW SES Procurement team is responsible for managing the agency’s NSW Procurement Goods and Services accreditation requirements, contract register and purchasing function.
The Procurement Governance and Contracts Coordinator role reports directly to the Senior Manager Procurement & Logistics (CPO).

About you
To be successful in this role you will:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proven ability to work collaboratively as a part of a team
- Meticulous attention to detail, ensuring accuracy and precision in all tasks and deliverables
Previous experience in NSW Government procurement, and/or in-depth knowledge of the NSW Government Procurement Policy Framework would be advantageous.
