Where you'll be working
Join WSLHD's casual nursing and midwifery pool, supporting various hospitals across the district. We are dedicated to enhancing health services in Western Sydney, embodying values of collaboration, respect, and empowerment.

• Work at Mount Druitt, Blacktown, Auburn, Westmead, and/or Cumberland Hospitals.
• Provide primary, secondary, and tertiary care across diverse locations.

What you'll be doing
As an Enrolled Nurse, deliver exceptional patient care under the guidance of Registered Nurses. Ensure holistic, quality care while adhering to NSW Health policies and maintaining detailed records.

• Assess, plan, and deliver nursing care to achieve clinical outcomes.
• Provide care in line with ANCSI competencies and WSLHD policies.
• Communicate with the multi-disciplinary team for seamless care.
• Advocate for patients and maintain accurate patient records.
• Manage resources effectively in a busy clinical environment.

1. Demonstrated recent clinical experience relevant to the position
2. Demonstrated ability to effectively prioritise and organise own workload within the scope of practice of an Enrolled Nurse
3. Demonstrated effective clinical communication through the use of information technology, written and verbal means; and sound interpersonal skills including the ability to communicate with the multidisciplinary health care team
4. An understanding of patient centred care and demonstrated ability to work effectively as part of the multi-disciplinary health care team.
