Dehulling Technician

Job Description
A day in a life of a Dehulling Technician will be a member of a small production team.
The job will require the candidate to work in the following areas on a rotating basis:
- Weighbridge
- Dehulling Plant
- Meats Loadout
- Hulls Loadout
A successful applicant, will be able to adhere to the following;
- Operation of plant operations (Experience preferred, however not essential)
- Operation of Forklift (current forklift license is essential)
- Sound computer knowledge
- Customer service skills
- Good problem solving skills, literacy and numeracy are essential.
- Adhere to Environment, Health and Safety policies and procedures at all times.
- Completing required safety documents and permits
- Housekeeping of weighbridge and surrounding areas
- General maintenance repairs
- Answering of calls both within work hours & outside work hours.
- Be able to work shift work, and weekends.
- Be able to work as part of a team, and individually
- Ability to adapt to new or changing work demands
