Job Description
Shift Schedule: Rotating shifts (e.g., 5:45am - 6:15pm dayshift, 5:45pm - 6:15am nightshift).
Roster: Work a 3 - 1 - 3 rotation, providing 8 days off when transitioning from nightshift to dayshift and 7 days off when transitioning from dayshift to nightshift.

Programmed Energy and Resources is a leading provider of managed workforce and training services, we have an exciting opportunity for a motivated and enthusiastic Mechanical Fitter to join our team in Wetherill Park.
The Role:
Your role involves proactive troubleshooting, identifying machinery wear, and working closely with operators to enhance asset performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Equipment Installation: Assist in setting up and testing new dairy production equipment or processes, including installing complex systems with guidance from specialists.
- Maintenance and Repair: Diagnose and repair dairy equipment and systems for both emergency situations and during scheduled preventive maintenance inspections.
- Solutions Analysis: Analyze data to identify and implement solutions that improve dairy production processes, navigating through various operational procedures.
- Operational Compliance: Ensure strict adherence to company policies and regulatory requirements related to dairy production, promptly reporting any non-compliance issues and escalating as necessary.
- Quality Assurance: Plan and oversee testing and inspection procedures for dairy products and processes, taking proactive measures to implement corrective actions and continuous improvements.
- Operations Management: Provide operational support services in the dairy production environment, occasionally assuming supervisory responsibilities to optimize workflow efficiency.
- Machine Operations: Operate and monitor complex dairy production equipment, making necessary adjustments to optimize quality standards and productivity outcomes.
- Work Scheduling: Develop and manage monthly production schedules, effectively delegating tasks when required to maintain smooth operations within the dairy facility.
Requirements:
- Certificate III in Engineering - Mechanical Trade or Cert III Electrotechnology and
Electrical license required. - Must have Australian trade certified.
- Clear verbal and written communication skills, able to provide technical guidance effectively.
- Proficiency in troubleshooting technical issues and recommending solutions independently.
- Manage safe work practices and provide guidance on health and safety protocols.
- Experience with MEX software preferred, using it to analyze and resolve maintenance issues.
