These are unpaid placements for 5-6 weeks based at the ABC Legal offices in Ultimo, NSW. You will join one of the teams in either- Content - Disputes & Litigation- Prepublication & Training- Technology & Property- Commercial & Regulatory - Privacy- Legal Operations & InnovationAs a work experience student in ABC Legal, you will have a friendly and supportive environment to learn in, with a vibrant, dynamic and cohesive team and mentors who will help you with any questions and give you the opportunity to experience what a career in media law might look like for you.Am I eligible to Apply?To be eligible for the placement, you must:
Be in your final year of your law degree at an Australian university; and be required to complete a supervised practical legal placement as part of your university degree or as part of your practical legal training to qualify for legal admission.
Have a demonstrated interest in media, technology, privacy, and/or legal innovation/operations.
Candidates who do not meet these minimum requirements will not be considered for a placement.Application ProcessThe precise dates of the placement terms are yet to be finalised, however placements run throughout the year from March until early December 2025.As part of the application process you will be directed to an online form to complete and will be asked to attach;
