At Green’s, we are looking for a passionate, forward-thinking Factory Manager to lead our Calder Vale Road factory. In this pivotal role, you'll have the opportunity to manage cutting-edge production operations, ensure top-tier quality and safety, and directly impact the growth of our business. What You'll Do:
- Take the Lead: Manage all aspects of production at our Calder Vale Road factory, from employee leadership and materials management to infrastructure and cost control.
- Drive Growth: Collaborate with the Operations Director to develop business strategies and production plans that align with Green’s growth targets.
- Innovate & Improve: Spearhead the development of new processes, technology, and team members, continually raising the bar for efficiency, safety, and quality.
- Shape the Future: Have a direct hand in the overall strategy of the company, providing insights and leadership across departments and to the Board of Directors.
- Maintain High Standards: Ensure compliance with international quality, safety, and environmental standards, while managing key quality documentation and processes.
- Be a People Developer: Lead and inspire a team, fostering talent at every level, from apprentices to seasoned professionals. Your leadership will shape the future of our workforce!
- Collaborate & Communicate: Act as a bridge between departments, liaising with sales, contracts, finance, and external bodies to ensure seamless operations.
- Stay Ahead of the Curve: Make key decisions on staff, machines, and processes to keep us ahead of production targets and operational excellence.
What We’re Looking For:
- A proven leader with a passion for manufacturing, innovation, and team development.
- Someone who thrives in a high-paced, hands-on environment, with experience in production planning, cost management, and process improvement.
- Expertise in ISO9001, ISO14001, and other relevant quality and safety standards.
- Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma process improvement
- A strategic thinker who can provide valuable insights to the Board and help shape the direction of the company.
- +10 years experience in a similar role and industry
- Familiar with various manufacturing codes EN12952, EN13445, ASME 1 & VIII, PD5500, EN1090
- Industrial Boilers, Pressure Vessels, Heat Exchangers, Oil & Gas, Petro Chem, heavy engineering background
