Mechanical Clerk of Works (PART TIME)

PSR Solutions are currently recruiting for a Mechanical Clerk of Works.

Our client are a multi-disciplinary consultancy, this role will be based on education/commercial/healthcare schemes in and around Hertfordshire and Bedfordshire.

Job role: Mechanical Clerk of Works

Rate: £325 - £350/day

Hours: 8am - 4pm, 1 - 2 days/week

Start date: ASAP

Duration: 6 months+

Location: Hertfordshire, Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire

Clerk of Works Responsibilities:

• Inspect the ongoing and completed works on site.
• Carry out property inspections, including pre & post work inspections, condition surveys, etc.
• Identifying defects in building materials.
• Monitoring and reporting on progress to Site Managers, Architects & clients.

Clerk of Works Person Specification:

• 10 years+ construction industry experience.
• Valid CSCS card.
• Own vehicle and clean driving license.
• Experience working on schemes from £200k - £25million.
• Experience with NEC contracts.
